Coaching

Coaching is individual, specialized sessions to optimize attention, concentration, planning and organization, and any other area.  Neurocognitive coaching is similar to "executive coaching." It can be designed to be offered in 25 or 45 minute sessions.

Some common uses for coaching include:

  • To gain support and develop strategies to meet personal goals

  • Learn and practice strategies to minimize the effects of ADHD

  • Help college students to organize and plan in order to meet deadlines and improve efficiency

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is an individual psychotherapy that helps people to better understand how negative thoughts, feelings and behaviors are interconnected and influence how we think, feel and act. Sessions can be arranged on a weekly or biweekly basis, depending on the needs of the individual.  This therapy can be done in a short- or long-term format.

Cogmed Working Memory Training

Cogmed Working Memory Training is a computer based training program that is designed to start at your current level of functioning, guiding you through cognitive exercises that progressively increase in the level of difficulty to challenge your working memory skills.  This program can be done from a personal computer or iPad with the guidance of a Cogmed Trained provider. There are programs developed for children, teens and adults.
